This year we have continued to take the lead with new innovations and major advances in both reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery. We were the first locally to integrate the use of the Natrelle 410 (gummy bear) implants into our practice and have already implanted more than 30 of these new devices. Integration of the Vectra XT 3D camera system along with our existing 360 Video turntable was also a new first for Jacksonville. These tools allow us to optimize results and also allow our patients to see their own results prior to surgery.
Several years ago as one of the earliest provider of the Palomar SlimLipo/LifeSculpt laser technology, I introduced the technique of the scarless breast lift. This is often performed in conjunction with the new design breast implants and also in patients with breast asymmetry.
Another technology new to my practice has been the conversion of the patients own fat to enhance the concentration of the stromal vascular fraction (stem cells) which increases fat graft survival. Our next blog will feature other applications of our new technology in our quest for “The New You”.
