THE ANNUAL MEETING OF ASAPS
Next week Dr. Lewis Obi will attend the annual meeting of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS) in New York City. This is the largest and most important meeting of board certified plastic surgeons in the world, with several thousand in attendance. Dr. Obi will be attending several of the 120 courses offered at this pivotal meeting. In addition, he will be sharing his clinical work and research in areas of stem cells, lasers and the newly introduced Natrelle 410 (Gummy Bear) breast implants. Dr. Obi will be meeting with board members and representatives of leading corporations including Allergan, Palomar Medical Technology and Cynosure.
This week Dr. Lewis Obi will be acquiring one of the first available Vectra XT 3D camera systems which will be launched by Allergan at the ASAPS meeting next week.
The most common fear women have when considering breast augmentation is achieving a natural result and having confidence that they can communicate their expectations effectively with their surgeon. The VECTRA ® XT is a 3D camera that captures a three dimensional photograph of your breasts. It then uses software to allow your surgeon to show you a simulation of how you may look with different size and shapes of implants that your surgeon believes are suitable for you.
These advanced imaging techniques will allow Dr. Obi to more effectively apply all of his advanced body sculpting technology with precision and artistry. Not uncommonly, SlimLipo body laser lipolysis is performed simultaneously with breast augmentations and Adivive stem cell fat grafting to the face. The new advanced pre and post operative imaging systems enhances every aspect of these complex procedures. The VECTRA XT, along with the 360° video system currently in place, will be only available at the Obi Plastic Surgery Clinic.

If I make an appointment for a consultation with Dr. Obi for breast implants, will the use of this machine be included in my consultation so that I can see images of how I would look after surgery?
ReplyDeleteThank you.
Yes, we typically use the VECTRA XT 3D camera on the 2nd consultation for our patients. However, we can use it for the initial consultation if requested. We look forward to seeing you in our office soon!
